Credit to Channel 4 for commissioning and airing Dirty Business tonight — and for this powerful installation on London’s South Bank that forces this issue into the open.
This isn’t just another documentary. It should be a turning point.
For too long, the public has been abused, ignored and dismissed while the water industry has polluted rivers, coastlines and trust. The scale of the scandal affects every single one of us — whether we realise it yet or not.
I hope this programme doesn’t just inform. I hope it makes people angry. Angry enough to question. Angry enough to demand accountability. Angry enough to push for real reform.
The tide is turning.
