a shining example
I was alerted to a LinkedIn post this week by a contact (thanks to Geoff Armstrong) and it was one that stuck.
Jangro is a network of independent distributors supplying cleaning and hygiene products to businesses across the UK and beyond — from schools and hospitals to hospitality and facilities management.
Through a partnership with CleanHub, which funds and verifies waste collection in regions where it would otherwise end up in the ocean, Jangro has removed 5,000kg of non-recyclable plastic from the environment.
Five tonnes of plastic kept out of oceans and communities.
A strong result but it raises a bigger question:
What if this wasn’t the exception?
What if more companies, Like Jangro, went beyond compliance… not just meeting regulations, but actively reducing their impact and investing in solutions?
This shows what’s possible.
The question is — who follows next?
